Hilliard Darby is 9-1 against Thomas Worthington since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will take on the CARDINALS at 5:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hilliard Darby has seven straight victories, Thomas Worthington has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Hilliard Darby didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They skirted past Olentangy Berlin 5-4. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

Marley Grigsby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Deanna Tejada was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. Lorelai Gum was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Thomas Worthington came up short against London on Saturday, falling 12-5.

Hilliard Darby's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.2 runs across that stretch. As for Thomas Worthington, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Hilliard Darby skirted past Thomas Worthington 6-4 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
