It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Seneca East ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Colonel Crawford Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Seneca East's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nicolas Parks, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Seneca East's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Colonel Crawford, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Seneca East will challenge Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Colonel Crawford will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' contest: after the Tigers face off against the Big Red, they'll take on Colonel Crawford again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
