Football Game Preview: Lemoore Tigers vs. Tulare Western Mustangs + How To Watch

The Lemoore Tigers will take on the Tulare Western Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lemoore will be strutting in after a win while Tulare Western will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Lemoore was able to grind out a solid victory over Dinuba, taking the game 20-13. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Emperors: they've now won four in a row.

Lemoore didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Prince Logan, Jaiden Wright, and Kino Kapea picked up one apiece. Kapea also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 15.

Meanwhile, Tulare Western played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Hanford and fell 55-14. The Mustangs have struggled against the Bullpups recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Lemoore will have to contain Preston Seechan as he made an impact in Tulare Western's last game. He rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Seechan is now averaging an impressive 104.4 rushing yards per game.

Tulare Western's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lemoore, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
