Volleyball Recap: Capital Gets the Win

Capital picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Greenbrier West Cavaliers by a score of 2-0.

Capital easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10.

Korri Marin paced Capital's offense, picking up ten kills. Marin got some help from Jada Fruit and her 19 assists. Ella Sedosky controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Capital's win bumped their record up to 5-9-2. As for Greenbrier West, they dropped their record down to 6-7-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Capital wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Preston on the 20th. As for Greenbrier West, they will take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
