Basketball Recap: Clarkson/Leigh Comes Up Short

Clarkson/Leigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-33 loss at the hands of the Scotus Shamrocks.

Despite the loss, Clarkson/Leigh still got an impressive performance from Kyle McMullin, who posted ten points. McMullin has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played.

Clarkson/Leigh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Scotus, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Clarkson/Leigh will take on Schuyler in a tournament on Monday. Clarkson/Leigh is facing Schuyler at the right time seeing as Schuyler is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Scotus, they will head out to challenge Yutan at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
