After losing to Franklin County the last time they met, Blountstown decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blountstown Tigers walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Franklin County Seahawks on Tuesday.

Blountstown let Cole Watson and Carson Stafford run wild. Watson went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Stafford went 2-for-3 with three runs and one triple. That's the most runs Stafford has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bryson Fleck, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Blountstown's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Franklin County, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Blountstown will welcome Bozeman at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bozeman will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Blountstown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin County, they will head out to face off against Jefferson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
