Softball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Eastern Tech's Winning Streak

Eastern Tech dropped their record down to 7-5 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry Hall Gators. The Mavericks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Gators earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

As for Perry Hall, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-8. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Perry Hall's part, Madison Carl was incredible, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Isabel Chrysler also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Coming up, Eastern Tech will take on Towson on Monday. As for Perry Hall, they will venture away from home to square off against Carver A&T at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
