Softball Recap: Springport Takes a Loss

Springport entered their game against Hanover-Horton on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Spartans fell 9-4 to the Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2016.

The defeat was their first at home, dropping their record down to 15-5. As for Hanover-Horton, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-10.

As of now, neither Springport nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
