Desert Heights Prep won against Anthem Prep on March 3rd with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Desert Heights Prep put the hurt on the Salome Frogs with a sharp 8-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Yote in their matchups with the Frogs: they've now won five in a row.

Jayven Reyes made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Reyes was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Cayle Haskell was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Mason Gervais was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Desert Heights Prep's record now sits at 3-0. As for Salome, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
