Kodiak posted their closest win since October 12, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Sitka Wolves 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Wolves back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Maggie Hubert paced Kodiak's offense, picking up three kills. Hubert were helped by Ava Dela Cruz and Fremela Garcia, who contributed three assists each.

The victory snapped Kodiak's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-18-3 record. As for Sitka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12-9.

Kodiak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Nikiski on the 10th. As for Sitka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Houston on the 10th.
