Preview: Osceola Bulldogs vs. St. Francis Flyers

Osceola is 1-6 against St. Francis since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Osceola Bulldogs will stay at home for another game and welcome the St. Francis Flyers at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Osceola scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Palmer 76-14 at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Kale Gustafson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Gustafson is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Santos, who scored 14 points along with five steals.

Meanwhile, St. Francis didn't have too much trouble with Twin River on the road on Friday as they won 46-30. St. Francis pushed the score to 36-11 by the end of the third, a deficit Twin River cut but never quite recovered from.

Osceola's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points per game. As for St. Francis, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
