Softball Recap: Mars Hill Bible Comes Up Short

Mars Hill Bible fell victim to Brooks and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-1 loss on Saturday.

Mars Hill Bible saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Stegall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Mars Hill Bible's loss dropped their record down to 26-9. As for Brooks, their victory bumped their record up to 15-13.

Mars Hill Bible didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-2 win against Lauderdale County on the 12th. As for Brooks, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lawrence County on the 14th.
