Basketball Recap: Overlea Comes Up Short

Overlea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 55-43 to the Sparrows Point Pointers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 54-23 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Overlea's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Sparrows Point, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Coming up, Overlea will host Randallstown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sparrows Point, they will take on Towson on Monday.
