Landon Stancil Turns in Season-Best Performance

Landon Stancil produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Strong Rock Christian to the win on Friday. Stancil picked up 159 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 94 yards.

With the victory, Strong Rock Christian broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. Stancil and Strong Rock Christian will host Brookstone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

He is becoming a predictor of Brookstone's success: when he posts at least two sacks the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

With the loss, Brookstone broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3. Hudson and Brookstone will venture away from home to square off against Strong Rock Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
