Make it six blowout wins for the Westover Wolverines this season. They took their match on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 58-0 victory over Harnett Central. While fans of Westover might be used to big wins, the 58-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Westover got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Princess Canady out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Canady has scored all season. Rmani Robinson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Westover's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Harnett Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Westover will be playing at home against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Triton and the Wolverines are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Harnett Central, they will head out on the road to take on the Golden Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. E.E. Smith will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
