Volleyball Recap: Tomball Memorial Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Tomball Memorial entered their tilt with Klein Forest on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tomball Memorial took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-10.

Sarah Odell paced Tomball Memorial's offense, picking up ten kills. Odell got some help from Keira Pierce and her 12 assists. Katie Shaffer controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Tomball Memorial's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Klein Forest, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Tomball Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against FBCHA on the 6th. As for Klein Forest, they will challenge Magnolia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
