Volleyball Recap: Toombs County Takes a Loss

Toombs County lost against Savannah Country Day back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Hornets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

When it comes to explaining why Toombs County lost, don't look at Arianna Hill. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and two aces. Hill is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Toombs County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Savannah Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Toombs County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Savannah Country Day, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Bryan County on the 25th.
