Softball Recap: Comp Sci Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Comp Sci duked it out with Academy of Science and Innovation on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 21-14 to the Ravens. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in April of 2025 (ten), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Comp Sci's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, Comp Sci will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Academy of International Studies at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.82 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, they will face off against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
