Softball Recap: Reading Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Reading walked away with it. They beat the Bethel-Tate Tigers on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-7. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Reading's record now sits at 16-10. As for Bethel-Tate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14-1.

Coming up, Reading will be taking part in a tournament against Shawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Bethel-Tate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
