Softball Game Preview: Reynolds Raiders vs. Gresham Gophers

Reynolds is 0-10 against Gresham since March of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Gophers at 5:00 p.m. Reynolds has given up an average of 16.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Reynolds lost 17-4 to Nelson on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Meanwhile, Gresham got the win against Clackamas on Monday by a conclusive 18-3. The Gophers haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Gresham's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Reynolds, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Reynolds might still be hurting after the 18-2 defeat they got from Gresham when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
