Basketball Recap: Owensboro Catholic Wins Going Away Against Graves County

Owensboro Catholic won the last time they faced Graves County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Owensboro Catholic Aces took down the Graves County Eagles 53-35.

Owensboro Catholic had a senior duo take command as Aubrey Randolph dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards and Karmin Riley went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on her way to 20 points along with five boards and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Riley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Newby, who posted seven points and four steals.

The win got Owensboro Catholic back to even at 2-2. As for Graves County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Owensboro Catholic and South Warren will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Graves County will take on Carvers Bay in a holiday battle at at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
