Venice scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 87-62 to the Riverview Sarasota Rams. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Leading Riverview Sarasota to victory were Josh Harris and Carter Evans. Harris went 10-for-21 en route to 32 points, while Evans dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 boards. Those 25 points gave Evans a new career-high. Gabe Yamada was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Venice now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Riverview Sarasota, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Venice will take on Manatee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverview Sarasota, they will square off against Booker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' defense better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 63.8 points per game this season.
