The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Cape Henlopen considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Dover with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Burke, Alan Hernandez - Becerra, Lawson Whaley, and Logan Cortijo.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Sussex Central sidestepped ASPIRA Charter for a 2-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sussex Central.

Cape Henlopen skirted past Sussex Central 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
