Volleyball Recap: Shiprock Takes a Loss

Shiprock lost against Taos back in September of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chieftains took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 26-28, 25-8, 25-10.

Shiprock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Taos, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Shiprock will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aztec at 9:00 a.m. on the 19th. As for Taos, they will welcome West Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
