Baseball Recap: Bethel Bruins vs. Hampton Crabbers
There's no place like home for Bethel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Hampton Crabbers 9-2 on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bruins as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Ryder Zeman made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Zeman was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one triple. Bethel is undefeated when Zeman posts three or more RBI, but 6-10 otherwise.

In other batting news, Zahir Williams was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
