Basketball Recap: John Milledge Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact John Milledge Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Stratford Academy Eagles on Thursday, falling 65-42. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Eagles are ranked 54th).

John Milledge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Stratford Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

As of now, neither John Milledge Academy nor Stratford Academy have any future games scheduled.
