Softball Recap: Half Moon Bay Cougars vs. El Camino Colts

Half Moon Bay can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 15-5 margin over the El Camino Colts. The win was just what Half Moon Bay needed coming off of a 7-1 loss in their prior match.

Indie Glafkides was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (she also only allowed one walk). Glafkides was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Olivia Deeney, who scored five runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Bailey Gunning, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI, a triple, and a run.

On El Camino's side, Juliana Bazlamit made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
