Volleyball Recap: Twinsburg Comes Up Short

The Twinsburg Tigers came up short against the Avon Lake Shoremen on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18.

Taylor Pucky paced Twinsburg's offense, picking up seven kills. Pucky got some help from Kelsey Williams and her 12 assists.

Avon Lake found their leader in sophomore Danielle Hubert, who had ten digs.

Twinsburg's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Avon Lake, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Twinsburg has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Austintown-Fitch on the 13th. As for Avon Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Pickerington Central on the 13th.
