Soccer Recap: Stranahan Comes Up Short

Stranahan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northeast Hurricanes. Stranahan were not able to make up for their loss to Northeast from their previous meeting back in January.

Stranahan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Northeast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Stranahan and Northeast will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Mighty Dragons see the pitch they'll take on McArthur at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Northeast, their break will end when they face Fort Lauderdale at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
