Football Game Preview: DuPont Tigers vs. Concord Raiders

The DuPont Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Concord Raiders at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. DuPont, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Concord's (thus far) undefeated season.

It was a proper cat-fight when DuPont challenged Delcastle Technical on Friday. The Tigers were beaten by the Cougars 52-0.

While Concord didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 20-8 victory over Christiana on Saturday.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for DuPont, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

DuPont took a serious blow against Concord in their previous matchup back in September of 2016, falling 48-12. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 48-0.
