Basketball Game Preview: Roaring Fork Rams vs. Eagle Valley Devils + How To Watch

The Roaring Fork Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Eagle Valley Devils at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Roaring Fork sitting on 14 straight wins and Eagle Valley on nine.

On Tuesday, Roaring Fork earned a 55-47 victory over Rifle. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Bears are ranked 155th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roaring Fork's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryder Tezanos, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 12 points and six boards. Tezanos is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 63% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Quentin Galbraith, who shot 55% from the field en route to 14 points.

Meanwhile, Eagle Valley won against Glenwood Springs on Tuesday with 67 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Devils came out on top against Battle Mountain by a score of 67-55.

Roaring Fork's record is now 17-2. As for Eagle Valley, their record now sits at 17-4.

Roaring Fork lost to Eagle Valley on the road by a decisive 77-63 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Thankfully for the Rams, Brian Fontana (who went 8-for-17 to rack up 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists) won't be suiting up this time.
