Baseball Preview: West Port Wolf Pack vs. Madison County Cowboys
The West Port Wolf Pack will take on the Madison County Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Madison County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Port, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with nine losses in a row, West Port turned things around against Eastside on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over the Rams. The Wolf Pack not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 18th.

Madison County also got a good showing from Mar'Kevian Stephens, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Stephens has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Kannon Plain was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Will Latner also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-12. As for Madison County, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
