Lincoln Gagne made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, The Villages Charter let Konnor Briggs and Samuel Craig run wild. Briggs went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Craig went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits Briggs has posted since back in March.
