Soccer Game Preview: Malvern vs. Cossatot River

The Malvern Leopards are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against the Cossatot River Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Malvern will be strutting in after a win while Cossatot River will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Malvern beat Harmony Grove 3-1.

Meanwhile, Cossatot River unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against De Queen on Monday, falling 6-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Leopards recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Everything went Malvern's way against Cossatot River when the teams last played back in May of 2016, as Malvern made off with a 6-0 victory. Does Malvern have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cossatot River turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
