Basketball Game Preview: Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights vs. Bethlehem Academy Cardinals

The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenyon-Wanamingo knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Bethlehem Academy likes a good challenge.

Kenyon-Wanamingo is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since January 23, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged LeRoy-Ostrander out 71-68. 71 seems to be a good number for the Knights as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, falling 73-43. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 95th).

Kenyon-Wanamingo's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Bethlehem Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Kenyon-Wanamingo was able to grind out a solid win over Bethlehem Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 62-55. Will Kenyon-Wanamingo repeat their success, or does Bethlehem Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
