Cole Meka made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Shadow Hills is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-2 otherwise. Meka was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
