Soccer Game Preview: Tuscola vs. Pisgah

The Tuscola Mountaineers will face off against the Pisgah Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tuscola will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Tuscola got the win against North Henderson by a conclusive 5-1. Tuscola might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit North Henderson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gracie Rinker (3), Analyn Revelia, and Haven Roth.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Pisgah was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They lost 9-0 to West Henderson. Pisgah haven't had much luck with West Henderson recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Tuscola's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five games. As for Pisgah, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Everything went Tuscola's way against Pisgah in their previous matchup back in March, as Tuscola made off with a 6-2 win. Do the Mountaineers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
