Basketball Recap: Waukegan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Libertyville last Wednesday, Waukegan came back down to earth. The Waukegan Bulldogs took a hard 40-25 fall against the Lake Forest Scouts on Friday. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Waukegan's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Lake Forest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Coming up, Waukegan will face off against Mundelein at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Forest, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-36 win against Rolling Meadows on the 8th.
