Aaron Thomas posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Thomas' strong effort led Sycamore over Middletown and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
