Recap: Adams Central Patriots vs. Aurora Huskies
The Adams Central Patriots had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged Aurora out 9-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Adams Central.
Jayden Teichmeier threw for 40 yards on five of nine attempts. Jack Trausch was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards. On the ground, Nick Conant rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Adams Central's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Aurora, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Adams Central will square off against Ashland-Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ashland-Greenwood is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. Aurora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
