Recap: Keystone Wildcats vs. Northwestern Huskies

The Keystone Wildcats put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 54-27 victory over Northwestern at home. The result was nothing new for Keystone, who have now won four games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Keystone's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Vivian Cassell led the charge by scoring 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Cassell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Forthofer, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds.

Keystone pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keystone will challenge Oberlin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oberlin is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Northwestern, they will head out on the road to face off against Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
