Football Recap: Idalia Wolves vs. Peetz Bulldogs

In Friday's Canine Competition, Idalia prevailed. They breezed by the Peetz Bulldogs to the tune of 64-12 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won seven contests by 31 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Idalia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Broderick Kite, who threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Kite also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, making seven total tackles, and defending a pass.

Idalia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 160 rushing yards in ten consecutive matches.

Idalia wouldn't let Peetz keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Idalia can thank Tate Towns and Hayden Drullinger for forcing both of them. Another thorn in Peetz's side was Garret Drullinger, who picked up a sack and made eight total tackles.

Although Peetz took the loss, they still got scores from Collin Fehringer and Dylan Wagner.

Idalia's record is now 8-2. As for Peetz, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
