Baseball Recap: Encinal Jets vs. Arroyo Dons

Encinal can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over the Arroyo Dons. The victory was just what Encinal needed coming off of a 13-6 loss in their prior contest.

Encinal got a great performance from Kyle Cooke as he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched. Cooke has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Leo Paredes was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Wilson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

On Arroyo's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jared Montenegro, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
