Softball Recap: Malvern Takes a Loss

Malvern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Fairless Falcons. The Hornets were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Malvern's record is now 3-8. As for Fairless, their victory ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Malvern will head out to take on Tuscarawas Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairless, they will venture away from home to face off against Tuslaw at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
