Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kate Duarte and Elizabeth Riebli Lead Rosary Academy to Victory

Rosary Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Clovis East Timberwolves.

Leading Rosary Academy to victory were Elizabeth Riebli and Kate Duarte. Riebli had 22 assists and two aces, while Duarte had 12 digs, seven kills, four aces, and one block. That's the most aces Riebli has posted over her last 12 matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Rosary Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 13-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Clovis East's loss came despite strong showings from Anna Cheatham and Jayda Phasakda. Cheatham had 15 digs and three aces, while Phasakda had seven digs and seven assists.

Rosary Academy's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Clovis East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.
