After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Beaverton brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Churchill Lancers on Tuesday. With that victory, the Beavers brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Addison Riedel made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Riedel was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Gracie Burnett was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Mia Eberhart was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
