Chester won the last time they faced Leggett and things went their way on Friday too. The Yellowjackets strolled past the Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 41-25. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Yellowjackets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Leggett still got an impressive performance from Bianca Perkins, who posted 17 points and seven steals. That was a full 68% of the Pirates' points, marking the seventh time in a row Perkins has earned more than a third of the team's points. Priscilla Henderson was another key player, putting up four points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Chester's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Leggett, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.
