Windsor and Masuk squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Windsor had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Masuk Panthers by a score of 24-21. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Windsor still got an impressive performance from John Manning, who rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns. Manning is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played.
Manning was just one part of a punishing run game: Windsor was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Masuk only rushed for 90 rushing yards.

Shane Walker was his usual excellent self, picking up 149 receiving yards and one touchdown for Masuk. Walker didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended one pass.
Windsor's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-1. As for Masuk, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
