Strom Thurmond fell victim to Saluda and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Tigers. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Strom Thurmond's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for Saluda, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Strom Thurmond will welcome Batesburg-Leesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
