Kennedy came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Von Steuben Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since September 27th.

Kennedy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-17, 29-27.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 17-5-1. As for Von Steuben, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-11-1.

Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Von Steuben, after both having extra time off, they and Roosevelt will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
